We can also simplify the button labels... change "restart nightly" to just "restart"

The checkbox for including the page address defaults to on on desktop, I wonder if we want to do that as well. Also, is it really needed to always be shown to everyone? And as they tend to be quite helpful to us when trying to analyze crashes, I keep wondering if there's a sane way to include email and/or comment fields on mobile as well, possibly at least for tablets. I know that typing is not that easy on those devices, but maybe we can do something intelligent there UI-wise for those who actually *want* to give us some details (thinking of testers in the community, for example)? For reference, the current desktop crash reporter UI is included in the slide at http://kairo.mozdev.org/slides/fosdem2012/#crashkill

Kairo that is a carryover from the XUL version of Firefox mobile. I recall something about the crash reporter and e10s making reporting pages not very useful. Now that we are back on a single process it makes sense to bring this in line with desktop.

Some very recent UX/theming changes made the checkboxes in the crash reporter GUI essentially invisible on my Galaxy Tablet.

(In reply to Gian-Carlo Pascutto (:gcp) from comment #6) > Some very recent UX/theming changes made the checkboxes in the crash > reporter GUI essentially invisible on my Galaxy Tablet. Is that on XUL builds or on native? I think this bug is only about native. In general, are there any plans to go forward with this?

It's on native. I'm signaling it because it went from "not looking pretty" to "serious usability problem".

I'm not actively working on this. Unassigning in case someone else wants to take it before me.

Gross. Ok, I'll try and whip something up that hits this and bug 703564 at the same time. When do we need designs if we want this for 19?

On my tablet, the buttons are now OK, but the rest of the text is bad, see bug 836356
